The CASS team have the experience and skills to undertake initial prospective carer home visits and assessments to assist your organisation in identifying suitable prospective carers, and evidence their potential as future carers. CASS practitioners review organisational policy and process with prospective carers, facilitating the progression to training and assessment in a timely manner.
CASS have developed assessment tools which are inclusive and respectful of cultural diversity. Our carer assessments are evidence based and analytical. Carer Assessments consider the type of care an applicant may be best able to provide, and considers the complex needs of children and young people entering the care system. Recommendations are meaningful and identify areas for future case planning.
